sheeran was evidently a guy who "took care of things" for other guys.

best evidence for his involvement seems to be that sheeran himself said he did it to another guy who then wrote a book about it.

nothing panned out from that sheeran "confession" after law enforcement investigated it. and sheeran is dead too now, right?

again i believe who did it is "unknown and unknowable" with any certainty...anybody who really knows is dead.

remember the "day" well...was in drivers training/summer school heard a radio announcement (next day I think actually) tooling around in my assigned '73 Gran Fury Coupe at Mumford HS in Detroit. yes, i took drivers training in a C body.

people "hate" mysteries...not knowing what happened is bad and gotta solve 'em. people "love" conspiracies..bad things come from them and we gotta expose 'em.

since the forum has already bandied it about, and I'm new here, my only addition to the discussion is an opinion that may already be on the record by others: anybody who really knows what happened to Hoffa is probably dead too...old age-related or otherwise. we aint ever gonna be sure what became of him.

Absolutely.
Here are the details.
When Jimmy was in prison, the mob started putting their own guys into running the Teamsters. That made Jimmy obsessed to get rid of the mob and bleeding the Teamsters dry. He eventually got too erratic in his thinking and behavior especially when Hoffa threatened to blow the lid on the Mob's involvement in that Kennedy Assassination. That was stepping over the line and Jimmy had to go. It was a very hard decision but Jimmy was getting crazier by the day. The mob asked Jimmy to back off but Jimmy wouldn't listen.
Red Sheeran was the only man Jimmy trusted and Red was a "painter" (hit man).
The mob told Red to do the job or he himself would be killed. Red was forced into killing his closest friend. And so it happened.

Yes because if you don't know the whole story and just read the pablum the media vomits out you have a totally wrong conception of the truth which is a shame. I have read every one of your replies when we get into this topic and all I see is someone that hears the bare minimum and then locks in his position.
You are only seeing the tip of the iceburg on how the middle class was destroyed, eaten up, and spat out. No one under forty will ever achieve what I, and others of my generation, have accomplished and are now living the remaining fragments of what was the American dream.
When there was was a thriving, healthy, and optimistic middle class, this country prospered like no civilization before it. A decent life and knowing their breaking their ball will be rewarded when they have to retire because their balls and every other part of their body are broken and used up.
Every person had the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. Now, for every person starting out only 1% will achieve success and the other 99% are **** out of luck. Just like in Mexico. South America, China. 50 years ago everybody could, and most did, have a decent life. Today, like I said, maybe one percent. And you call that capitalism.
By the way, that hippy .was Che Guevara. Your not knowing who he was automatically disqualifies you from having any discussion on this topic.

More so than when I watched the jury verdict saying O.J. was innocent.

I also believe that to be true. NO ONE else ever came forward or claimed to have knowledge except Sheeran.
 
I've never been in a union....unless you can count the U.S. Army. If it is a union....we have had very bad representation!
