Holley 2245 Question/problem

I'm putting a remanu'd Holley 2245 on my 1976. I can't get the rod/pin that goes through the throttle lever (onto which the cables/springs are attached) loose. I've tried putting both PB Blaster and the 50/50 ATF/ace on it. Is there a trick to getting it loose? Left handed threads? Does anyone have a part number so I can start looking for a NOS or used one? Thanks

I just want to confirm that this is the part you're struggling with? If so, it's got right handed thread. No special tricks, just a wrench/ ratchet...use a longer handle to get more torque. It'll come.

If not...ebay/ wrecker would be my recommendation.

Propane torch will put enough heat in it to loosen, just heat the nut not the stud.

I would do it, but I'm pretty lucky when it comes to that. Tim do not use the torch with the carb on the car or fuel in the carb.

Thanks to all for your concern!!! Carb already dismounted. Bowl mostly empty, Hey, everyone needs a little excitment in their life now and then.
