I already posted several on the for sale thread - I don't want to spam up the site.

Is that car black.... or dark blue.......?
I used to borrow my dads triple blue 69 LeBaron for dates....... and leave my A12 runner at home.

What a flashback. I can't wait to see this car cleaned up.

It's dark blue under all that filth. As you can see it's not perfect it's got some body damage on the passenger side and the typical ND rust but not bad for a 45 year old car. It was last driven in 96 and has 130,000 miles. It'll run but will need a rebuild eventually.

I think that thing could clean up to be a nice daily driver with a good scrubbing inside and out, keep the pics coming especially after you get it home and give it a wash!

Thanks for the pics. Congrats on the new car. Love the green wheel in the blue interior....:D

I had a 1980 2dr plymouth caravelle years ago whose steering column burnt up. It was a triple green car. We had a diplomat with a blue column and wheel we swapped in. Looked hilarious!

with a dirt floor look underside.....with that much moisture making it inside to create mold, the underside will ber very rusty and crusty.....forget it unless for parts

I hadn't noticed the green steering wheel until I saw the picture. I'll have to ask the owner about that.

The shed it's in is dry, there's plywood between the car and the wall that shows no sign of moisture damage. I've never seen mold grow like that on non organic surfaces. It may have been wiped down with something that attracted mildew. It'll be a couple of weeks before it can come out of the shed there's two old crawler tractors parked in front of it. Once it's pulled out I can inspect it better. I haven't paid for it yet so if it's as bad as you suspect that just means the yorker gets a second chance.

Thanks for the pics. When a car is as dusty as this one, there is a completely different atmosphere surrounding it. I mean, looking the car will give the chills (in positive way), at least to me!

I hope the car is good enough for you to buy it.

If not, give me a call! ;)

The mildew on such slick surfaces like the Dashboard will wash off with lukewarm water and a Little vinegar quite easily. I've had this phenomenon in a way earlier stage though as well even in a rather dry surrounding.
Just give the whole car a very thorough cleaning, best even the whole Ventilation System. They say it can cause some health issues, although I never had any Problems nor such extreme buildup.
