But I don't want the capillary tube to move 1 - 1,000ths of a mm. once I put it in place. If not, I'll have the need to check it every time it will hit 90 here.

Rest well knowing that's how the engineers designed it.

If you must seal it, GM Restoration companies such as Original Parts Group and Classic Industries sell the dumb dumb as those systems used it. I would absolutely not use epoxy; too permanent.

I wrapped my cap tube around the line before inserting it into the tube ....... More contact area ..... maybe cool better ....... ? probably not, but it looks cooler.

I tested a blob of the Thermal Epoxy. After it cured it was pliable.
I used it......
