Yes, there were something like 66 produced, 13 known VINS, 10 documented cars exist and 4 with numbers matching drivetrains.
 
The article is wrong about the 426 only being offered in B bodies. The E body Barracudas and Challengers could be ordered with a 426 Hemi in 1970 and 1971. I'm sure that everyone on this site knows that, but I could never understand how people can write about something without all the facts. When I see something like that, it makes me take the rest of the context with a "grain of salt".
 
The article isn't what drove me to it. It is the fact that Mopar would stick a 440-6 in a Fury. I love the unusual combination.
