If Chrysler never existed what would you have

Very nice! Did you do the restoration on this one too?

Either did it or wrote the cheques. It didn't need much body repair but did need paint so I farmed that out. I had the bumpers rechromed but did the wrenching. The engine bay was all done by me. The interior is mostly original but I added the Olds 8-track under the dash along with the correct AM/FM radio. Plus a ton of little stuff. Last summer I changed the wheels (because I needed new tires) so I found a set of original SSI wheels (Magnum 500 style), restored those and had them mounted with new center caps and trim rings. Once I'm retired I imagine I'll do new carpet and front seat upholstery, and convert it to front disc brakes.

only as a Hurst Olds

Any 69 2dr. for me, 442 preferred. I admit, I like the Hurst a lot as a very visual example a Muscle Car piece of history, the more subtle versions with W-coded engines as 442 or even small block Cutlass are not any worse though in my opinion.

I liked the styling of the '66 and '67 Cutlass but they are a big bulky car at 115" wb.

I never cared for the '69 styling. The '68 was just better in that generation.

My preference of all is for the '70.

Don't like the headlight arrangment on the pre 69s , however the tail of the 68 looks best to me.

Are we talking American only or worldwide?

I've always had a soft spot for the Jaguar E-Type. Flame away...

Cool old thread!
I had to think about this one. Contrary to popular belief I was not born a Mopar nut although I feel I was doomed. My first car (in 1981) was a 1955 Chevy and was totally into Corvettes as a kid. I was never into the 55 and Corvettes were probably out of my league I think I think a 68 El Caminio might have been on the list. Later years cars like the Buick Grand National and 88ish Trans Am were of my liking. It is hard to say much beyond that as I was pretty much brainwashed by then.

Hmmm what would I own.....

Love me some older buicks and oldsmobiles...

57 Chieftan Safari 2dr wagon....this particular car, with it's patina, gives me tingly sensations in my happy places....

Love the 1965 Buick Rivieras....

I'll admit to having a weakness for Eldorados too... Used to be mine...

No Mopars .......?

Well, i guess it would have to be 56-65 Pontiac's, (56 Safari or 61 Ventura 389 4sp/62 Grand Prix 421 4sp on top of that list). 64-69 Riveria's, (66-67 GS first). A square bird convertible. 57 Country Squire wagon, (I had one). A loaded Rambler wagon. A 58 Lloyd. Any senior 33-42 Packard.

I'm sure there would be others but will need to discover them yet.
