I'm wanting to restore my Interior so I'm curious on seeing condition of others;
What has survived, been saved, restored or made to fit in the vehicles we love.
Can be cool internet restos or customs too. Let's have fun :D

Here is my dash, the only thing I fixed has been the Bezel on the gauges/radio and added in the clock, radio, choke and Tach.
Original dash pad, chrome, and red paint.
I know reposts but hey I started this thread.

I'll post later on the rest of my interior.

Just use a little Armor All, I did and it went from this....:

....to this:

In all seriousness, your dash looks to be in great shape. The pad is intact and it appears all of the pot metal trim isn't pitted. How's the wheel look under the wheel wrap? What's the rest of it look like: seats, headliner, carpet, belts?

Here's my 66 NY'er interior. I love white interiors in spite of having to keep them clean.

I spiffed up the dash on Jazebelle a little.... A little bit of vinal/leather conditioner was used.

Had to wipe down the seat covers too.

I know this isn't a C body but the interior in my 61 Fury turned out to be not only original, but very rare. I was convinced the seats had been recovered but with a lot of research found documents verifying that they are original. (car has 41K miles).

How many miles do those cars have on them Dave?

The 70 just turned 60 thousand on the way home from Carlisle. It had 48,000 when I bought her 9 1/2 years ago.

The 71 has 82,000 miles on her. I guess she had 75,000 when I got her 6 years ago

That's impressive, it doesn't even look like they have that many miles on them. They must have been sat on very lightly all these years.

Older original owners, both cars. The Orange car still had the plastic wrappers on the seat belts in the center of the back seat when I got her.

This is awesome guys :)
My car had 53,500ish miles on it when I got it and was stored inside most of it's life.

The Wheel has cracks in it, mainly by the cross member. It always caught the webs of my hands (between the index finger and thumb) imagine driving around with a greased up wheel from blood.

The seats, head liner, etc have some rips.
Sorry Guys haven't been out to the car as of late I'll get to it hopefully soon.
