Wow! Very nice.
Love that 3 on the tree. Very nice. Here is my stripper Newport. I bought it from the original owner in Iowa. A barn find but in barn condition. It now has a 68 383, new interior, wheels and caps. Body is untouched.

I agree but you can easily add ‘64 & ‘65 to that statement.I have not looked at other model lines but lived through the period: comparatively to GM and Ford, I find the 66' to 68' Mopars are the most handsomest and classy. Great assembly of photos. Thank you. autos of that period.
Thanks! >9k original miles on her. All original.i like this car View attachment 324441
Thanks! >9k original miles on her. All original.
I don’t have all the story unfortunately but the guy I bought it from was an 87 yr old former pro drag racer. He was the second owner. Car was sold new in NY state and was apparently never driven, at least not in winter! The gent I bought it from had it cocooned up off the ground in his garage, wrapped up like a mummy!Really? Nine thousand miles? There must be a helluva story associated with that car. Sure would love to hear it. . .

Now I’m trying to figure out what to do with it...I realize it’s not a hemi Superbird but am I being stupid to drive it and use it as intended? That was my original plan but once I got it home and started going through it made me remember the line “ they’re only original once”...Thanks. That is a helluva story! I wonder why the car was never driven after the original purchase. I think there is a movie that could be made around that. . .
I'd drive the wheels off it, it's a car. Don't let it sit idle, then it's a waste. Now I’m trying to figure out what to do with it...I realize it’s not a hemi Superbird but am I being stupid to drive it and use it as intended?
