Just signed up for my first Mopar show!

You have at least 3 cars I'd like to see at a show or anywhere ;)

Thanks, maybe a 4th or...?

Yes at least 4. Can we see some more pictures of that long roof too? I'd like to see the rest of it and how is the interior?

I had a Red 89 Mustang GT 5 speed but it's already sold over in Europe so I beat Dave to the punch on that one emoticonbigsmile.gif

The interior is green, 70% original, and awful for the most part. The previous owner replaced 2 of the headliner panels with plywood underlayment painted green and held in place with some recycled clamps of some sort. The dash and steering wheel are seriously cracked. The seats were reupholstered in some green taxi-cab like industrial vinyl, and the rear side plastic and metal wagon floor in the rear was painted green with a brush. The dome lights were replaced with some "Ricer" LEDs. The AM radio was gone when I got it. I'll get some photos when I get it out of storage in late April.

Stick with us young Man and we'll get you thru' it. We love to help spend other folkz money. And as for the GT40? I missed my chance on one of those in the winter of '68 when I walked past one with a F/S sign on the dash for $8900. Yeah I know but don't say it. Just understand that that waz almost ah yearz gross back then and no room for the rug rat

If 58 is a "young man", someone better tell my 15 year old daughter, who considers me an "old man" :sad10:. I don't have any more money to spend on my toys since getting laid off/forcibly retired 5 years ago. Selling some of my toys is probably going to happen sooner than later, as my Daughter will be going off to college in less than 4 years. But in the mean time I like to hang out here and see what others are up to with their C-Bodies, and learn more about mine.

Just my way of talking to some one I've not met and not having them crack the enamel around their fillingz 'cuz I've got 'um crabby. At 58 be happy you've helped spawn ah young lady. Trying to keep up with ah 15 year old guy kid that iz probably into sportz will really tell yeah how old you are AND MOST ALL YOUR PARTZ TOO. Happy Trailz and stay the hell off the ice up there. I personally have gone thru' 3 timez in my early stupid yearz and I'm lucky to still be pumpin' real dry air and lovin' it, Jer

Well 70FuryWagon, I just registered for the show so I guess I have to go now. Like I said before, I'll be there Saturday for sure, not sure about Sunday. Now if only the weather would cooperate so I can get the new exhaust on...

Scott, I look forward to meeting you and seeing your car. I'll be there both days since it's less than 50 miles from home for me. Since the wife and daughter are not interested in making the show, maybe I should bring a sleeping bag and stay in the wagon. I've just got to get the passenger side rear spring replaced and the wagon should be good to go (unless another unforeseen issue pops up, like more brake line rust through). Hopefully the cold weather will be gone by then too.

I'm tempted to put my car on the dyno to see how little power it has! I'm gonna build a bigger, badder engine someday and think it would be fun to get a baseline. Of course I'd want to dyno it after every little thing I add to it. :)

Need an ap for that

Just received my packet for the event and appear to be the 4th C body. I found a room in Faribault. I will be driving the 71 Sport Fury which will fit the Tribute Theme of the show. It is a 4dr hdtp with bucket seats and console.

Dont know if thats possible, a lot of the old guys that swore by their As, Bs, and Es are giving up on them and bringing the Metric Challenger to Carlisle

What and miss the uncomfortable seating position in a classic Challenger, never, be at Carlisle and you can watch me climb out of mine and limp around for 10 min after only 1 1/2 hrs behind the wheel.

That's sad..... To me the car shows should be about the classics.
i agree 100 percent. have a car show for late models and give the real cars some space . the mopar fest is beginning to realize they are running out of space and are limiting the number of late model mopars from what i understand . hope that is true. i can see a new challenger all day long on any road. dont need to see them at a car show.
