I think your all thinking im going to paint it like a hurst with the sportgrain, the hood will be solid gray like the rest of the car, it just adds some shape to that large flat hood. But if I think it looks bad with the sportgrain, I'll just take all the sportgrain trim off and paint the car flat black. Because it's my car and I can build it how I want. this is 'Mercia!!!
The car really will look good, and no matter what I do to it, it beats sitting in the junk yard for another 10 years. People on this site have looked at and passed this car because it wasn't a factory 440 regardless of the other options. So the vin didn't say it had a 440, what stops someone putting one in it? Sometimes we put to much into that little letter in the vin number.
