Well folks, it looks like some detective work yielded another rare N-code Newport convertible. CE27N0C220200 (or is it CE27N0C220280 ?) has been repainted and is for sale in the Netherlands. Thanks to @NY69 for initiating the for sale thread.

Originally EF8 with black bench interior and black soft top, she is now a light teal with white bench seats. Front and rear 300 clips/lights.

I have two more Newports to submit, that I don't believe we have seen here before. Both have vinyl benches, both have been repainted in (or close to) the original color. The second, though, has had some stripes and graphics added...

1. CE27LOC176219 is a 1970 DY3 Newport 'vert for sale on eBay in Virginia Beach. It has a gold vinyl interior. Here is here tag, more info here.

2. CE27L0C166976 is a 1970 EB3 Newport 'vert for sale in Clearwater, FL. It has a blue vinyl interior. Here is the tag, more info here.

#2 looks like a super-rare S/27 GT model with base 383 engine option. Haven't seen one of those in years. Most had the 440 Hemi.

At least the 300 front end and the Plymouth stripes are for the same year (1971), isn't that a plus? Regardless of the incorrect nature of the job, and as atypical of my preferences as this statement may sound: I think the car looks good.

IMHO.... I actually like the stripe, although if it were about 6" longer, it would be a lot better. The grille looks good too.

Loose the 383 callout on the hood and the "GT" tag on the rear quarter. Maybe paint the wheels argent and add a trim ring, flip the white letters in and I'd drive it.

No.
I mocked all of it as the 383 decal and GT went overboard, esp on a convertible IMO. And I now see it looks like GT stripes on the hood?

I'm with @Big_John - his mild changes would've made it work well.

Although, I'd prefer the Nupe grill to teh 71 hideaways. I like the 69-70 version better with the TS lights bookending the grille.
