Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

This EW1 300 'vert was first flagged by @mdh157 back in August 2022. Eight months to the day later, this 'vert is still listed for sale on Hemmings.
That white one is showing lots of signs that it has a lot of hidden rust, like it's got an appendix that's ready to burst.
Ironically, on FB it's listed as $21k and also as 'pending'. At $24k I figured it would be for sale forever.

Hey! This is great info, even though the Chrysler letter and window sticker are very difficult to read. Much appreciated. Looks like this car started life in NH, migrated to PA and was finally stored somewhere wet. . . All red flags. I think this car is almost a Parts Car.
I'm not seeing any signs of wet storage, although the pictures don't show the shifter or TS stalk, which is my first place to look.
Underside looks pretty dry and solid, I only see 1 silver-dollar spot on the bottom of the trunk floor near the passenger shackle that's worth a closer look.
Looks like the AC retrofit included factory in-dash vents.
If it doesn't run, and/or is seized, that's a hard hit against the $12k price, but otherwise I'm seeing a good project car here. (but not for me)

I think a good 2-hour inspection would determine if it's got good bones.

Thanks to @71Polara383, we have a previously unknown 1970 Polara 'vert tag for the registry: DL27L0D109102

August 21 SBD and Fratzog bumper accordingly.

The car is currently for sale in CA. The car was parked 12 years ago and needs some TLC, but looks like a good project at the ask:

We have two EB3 1970 Chrysler 300 'verts today. One is a T-code parts car in Wisconsin whose tag came courtesy of @70 Sport Suburban , the other is a rare U-code in Red Deer, AB that was made visible courtesy of @Welder guy . Both seem to have been repainted -- one in a non-metallic white or blue, the other in red (nice job).

DL27L0D129493 is currently for sale in Washington State. She is missing her tag. Parked in garage since 1988, not driven since. The seller's aunt owned the car, and after she passed the garage roof caved in on the car. It has some rust in the lower body and the Dutchman panel. The interior is all there but needs reupholstering.

Interesting combo. Power windows and tilt rim blow wheel, but mid-range wheel covers and L2X9 bench seats.

Here's a new one for me: Dutchman Panel???
AKA upper rear body panel. Here's the meaning:
The term was derived from a "dutchman's repair" where a piece of cement would spall and dip causing a deformation in the stone.

A Dutchman repair, involves the cutting out of the damaged stone keyed sides. A piece of new stone is then prepared to fit into the slot.

Translating that to the automotive world, it was much easier to add an extra panel to the back of the vehicle rather than form the body as it slopes up to the roof from the trunk while trying to form the curvature on the side of the body as well

CE27L0C216877 is currently for sale in NJ. Originally EW1 white, now EB7-ish blue. The E2B3 interior looks like it may have been restored, but it could be an issue with the color balance in the seller's photos.

DL27L0D151852, an EB7 1970 Polara convertible, recently popped out of the blue (pun intended) for sale and has its tag here
Four and one half years after @Big_John inspected the car in Syracuse, guess what parked next to him at a local cruise this weekend?

It may have changed hands twice since he looked at it according to the owner. Looks like DL27L0D151852 has repaint on the front half: correct EB7, but that did not take the original paint's fading into account. John says that the repaired rust areas that he had found (and are documented in this thread) have started to rust again, unfortunately.

Still a good-looking car, as shown in the photos that John shared -- and she is again on the road. Yes!

As suggested that I post in this thread, here's the fender tag for my '70 Fury III convertible. I bought it on eBay around 2008 in Greenville, NC. at a small used car dealership. The guy told me it was a "one owner" car and had been in Greenville since new. It's basically a survivor and has it's original paint and interior. Not really a show car, but a great car for just cruising around in the summers. Has about 110k on it. I want to get the AC operational at some point, along with new shocks and perhaps some heavier springs. With the 318 suspension components and no front sway bar, the handling, oompared to my big block cars, is pretty scary.
