Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

Thanks to @crv we have PM27L0D236526 -- an FF4 (now yellow) Fury iii 'vert that is currently for sale. SBD was April 13, 1970. Lots of photos here.

PM27L0D256172 is currently being advertised for sale as a project on FB. @70 Sport Suburban kindly alerted me to the car. This 383-2 'vert seems to be in very sorry shape, and its fender tag is missing. Attached, for records, are the car's VIN tag and some other photos (...)

If I had to guess, I'd say that this Fury iii 'vert was also FK3 or maybe FK5? One can venture that it came with power drum brakes, manual A/C, a black vinyl interior, and manual crank windows.
No fender tag for PM27L0D256172 -- whose VIN is another one that we should credit to @70 Sport Suburban
Thanks to this post by @64valconv, who owned it before selling in 2006 (it went to Tampa area), we now have more information about PM27L0D256172. This FK3 Fury iii 'vert had "drum brakes front and rear. 383 2 bbl, a/c, power steering and brakes, electric top, manual windows, optional steering wheel, am radio, split bench seat with arm rest and black interior. I think the car came out of Ohio. My dad bought it for his Plymouth collection in 1979 and I traded a low mileage 73 'cuda 340-4 speed with him because I was going to Florida and the Fury III had A/C."

To add to the collection.
1970 Chrysler 300 vert, CM27T0C254843. Date of 6 17. Also a Y14 code.
I am the fourth owner. I knew 2 of the previous owners.

Painted 1.jpg
It was B7. Obviously repainted. Numbers matching 440, auto. PO put an alloy intake, holley carb, dual exhaust.

Did not have a fender tag when I got it, but I did get this key.

Also found the build sheet. Don't know if I may download it here or PM it to...?
Had it almost twenty years, and time to get a move on it.

I found this on Facebook -- pics of what is said to be a 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible pilot car, VIN CM27K0C100020

Note that the fender tag still has the 1969 paint code L1 (instead of BL1) as well as the 1969 engine designation "K" while the VIN schows "T" instead. Despite the sparsely populated fender tag the car is said to be pretty well optioned.

That VIN looks like 100038 in the last 6, not 20. (Would help if the window had been wiped off.) If so, something is rotten in Denmark.

And, I'll say it again, why do people let cars get like this? If you're not going to do anything with it, sell it to someone who will! I'll never understand!

@towjamma -- thank you for posting about CM27T0C254843

Can you share more about the history of the car, which if memory serves you've owned for almost two decades? If I see correctly, EB7 paint and M6B3 interior?

Your memory serves you well.
I have known this car since the early 90's. Used to do community theater with the 2nd owner. He had it in his garage for a long time. I only saw it a couple times, but we talked about it during rehearsals. Blue / blue with a white top. Fast forward, my machinist ended up buying it from him. Did a ton of work, including cup-brushing the whole inside and underside and POR-15 painting it. He also bought a full set of black and white seats with a console to match. Wish I could have saved the Blue ones from him, but he wanted a sublime green vert with a black interior and black top. Oh, and Sublime carpet. I "lost" that part when I bought it from him about a year later. Seems like it has around 85k miles now. Probably almost all from the original owner. I had the blue / white installed by a friend who owed me money.
Seems like too much story already. Sorry. Let me know what part is boring or unnecessary and I will delete.
Pics from today.

Thank you for sharing! Are you aware of other C-Body convertibles in Hawaii?

I have not seen any others on the Big Island. Quite a few E and B bodies.
I did see a 66 Chrysler vert for sale in Oahu a few weeks ago. I will put it on the "For Sale Ads from Other Sites" page.
