If you like your trunk opening low as well you should have Held on to your 57 Chevy though.
I find this 2 dr pretty amazing and unique.

Well, Little Red finally going to shop today for a workup on all mechanical issues and then off to body/paint...I'm hoping I get her back before the snow falls...on the positive note: now I can get Old Red to the middle stall next to Big Red. I drove her right up the shop's trailer like a breeze. That GMC dually pulled her away with no straining.

$800 a side sounds awfully cheap! That light blue ‘73 sure looks great from the rear with the hemorrhoids removed!
I changed shops so I may get a bigger estimate $$$...I'm thinking and leaning towards painting whole car.
Little Red is in the shop for an unknown length of time and getting carb cleaned up and new tank. Her sister Tina Patina a 4 dr 73 will join her soon for probably the remainder of the summer getting overhauled. Nice to have them both together. Brakes, steering box and other things to go over on Little Red. Hope to get her back to house before Fall is over to get in some driving time before Winter where she'll go to body and paint likely.
Doesn't exist yet...she's sitting pretty in Kansas waiting for a transport pickup any day...But, after Carlisle.
