Maryland Has Been Liberated!

For the most part...you can get through Baltimore during daylight hours....just stay alert. I don't recommend messing around in Baltimore when it's dark. Even going to the Inner Harbor can be dangerous these days. Everything I need is in Harford County anyways. I don't go see the Buzzards I (Orioles) or the Buzzards II (Ravens) both stadiums are right next to each other in the Downtown Ghetto. You have to take the "Martin Luther King Boulevard" exit off of I-95 to get to them. Unfortunately, the B&O Railroad Museum is right next to the stadiums.

My favorite crab cakes are from Faidleys at Lexington market. You know the nation's oldest running market, the very same one where a woman was being assaulted a mere 30 yards away from a Bloodymore police officer.

Yep, I've been there. Great crab cakes.

Try this place if you want to get great crab cakes in a safer location near my house... the setting and the view is over the top too.

Tidewater Grill in Havre De Grace, Maryland.

Hey, I forgot to mention that the Tidewater Grill is a short drive from the Lowe's Friday Night Car Cruise.

My stepson and his family moved from Baltimore to Annapolis. I was so glad when they did that.

I've been to the harbor and want to get back there.

Unfortunately, my step son and his wife have very limited taste in food and getting them to go to a decent seafood restaurant is like pulling teeth. I still manage to slip a crab cake or two in once in a while when we are there....

Heck yeah! Ocean City and Fenwick Island, Maryland and many of the beaches in Delaware on the Eastern Shore have great seafood places. Dewey Beach, Rehobeth Beach, Bethany Beach. Really anywhere on the Coastal Highway in Maryland and Delaware. I try different places on the coastal highway just cruising the NYB as much as I can during spring and summer.

Yep, been to Ocean City a couple times.

We go to this place out of the tourist area called the Harborside. http://weocharborside.com/

It's not much to look at on the outside, but it gets better as you go through the doors. Get the orange crush cake.

The only place I've been in Baltimore is the old airport, pre-BWI. Couldn't wait to leave. Such a shame that one of the most beautiful ballparks in America is in such a crime-ridden hell.

I've been in a lot of small cities and towns throughout PA , NJ and NY...when I was in the drilling business for 25 years, whenever you saw a Martin Luther King Blvd you better run like the wind! LOL

That is an accurate assessment.
