Mirror Question

I understand that the outside mirrors on a 78 Newport with the vent window option (like mine) are different, with separate part numbers. Does that apply to the right-hand passenger mirror also? Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for You, but I was curious on the differenices You have found. Could you elaborate?

The only thing I'm aware of is that the mirror is either with or without colored graphic.

The differences in the drivers side mirrors is in the length of the remote cables (or lack of them)...the Imperial/ NYB cables were longer to snake down to the lower door panel, whereas the Newports had the joystick in the upper door panel if they were so equipped. As for the mirrors themselves, identical (in other words, any Formal Chrysler mirror will bolt up).

Passenger side is either manual or remote...again the mirrors will bolt up.
