This one has been for sale a number of times at the same price. I'm glad I have mine.
Cancritter hasn't bought this yet?
He probably has three by now and is waiting for Paul to select the one the car gets before releasing the other 2 back to the wild...
probally passable till you can find a good one...am shure theirs a few out there yet besides that one...just gotta dig
Let's play capitalism,.........I've got one NOS I'll sell for $350. Anyone???...........................................................I didn't think so.
Let's be realistic,.....$200-300 would be "reasonable/fair" for both seller and buyer.
"Asking" $600 is comical,....what can you do but laugh?
At the $600 price point, the seller should just get real and "ask" $1,200,...why not?...........they are so rare, everyone wants one,.....right.
I'd call this,......"how to embarrass yourself 101 capitalism."
l paid 300 for the one l found....gotta remember to you folks this is $600 US...to me right now its $805 CDN plus shipping and customs so was prohibitive....now if it were the last piece l needed to complete a project and it was the only one out there............
You deserve a "like", "thanks" and "agree" for that... sono l realize that and lm the type that would mod that up for pennies on any other car in a heartbeat....the GT unfortuneatley has taken on a life of its own and am not gona cheap out at this point
Yes, but so few of us are investing in the kind of restoration work you are. To make a finishing touch on an otherwise perfect car... I would understand. For a driver status car with obvious flaws and survival modifications... Nah...too many more important places to spend the money. A universal aftermarket bottle, or zip tied jug will do the job... just remember this stuff is often flammable when locating your homemade bottle.
I have the patience and know when not to leap, this has been learned from many years of dealing in premium value parts on World War Two fighter aircraft where an oxygen regulator can set you back $18 000 for a new one. Overhauled ones are priced to compare to that as a benchmark.probally passable till you can find a good one...am shure theirs a few out there yet besides that one...just gotta dig

On my vintage stuff, no. When I restored my Barracuda I put a new bottle in and never put fluid in it, I didn't want it stained over time. Never once have I missed it, if for whatever reason I felt compelled to need it I would just stop and wash the windshield as I always have cleaning supplies in the trunk for shows.Who really uses them? I don't use washers on my DDs , I don't like to wash the older cars and if I do its minimal. I never use washer fluid on the old cars ever. The only reason I have the bottle is because it belongs there.
Some of us are willing to go all the way on what belongs there regardless how restored the car is.
