My 2018 RAM Longhorn

What is Pedal Commander?
Pedal Commander is a throttle response controller that removes response delays on your electronic accelerator pedal. Effectively, it allows your engine to respond faster so your car can accelerate faster!

They sell thousands of them.....

All of the big block EFI conversions have a primitive throttle responder.....its just mounted on the throttle body instead of the gas pedal.

I know the ride would make me want her... but unless Graham can tell me how to get one for about $5k and a 99 burb w/200k miles... anything more and I'd already be driving a 4spd Formal to work instead.

No problem my friend! Have a low mileage demo available in your price range. Has a few issues that a certified tech should have no problem touching up. It will buff out I am sure!

Maybe, but these have a three second delay when you hit it..sounds like a great idea

What 3 second delay?

If you have it in Sport or Sport + mode and at level 4. The throttle response is immediate.

None of my 2500s have ever had a sport mode. Even in my R/T challenger you can sense the delay especially while cruising.
Since it is all electronic it is a slower response than mechanical. You could tie a shoe from the time you punch it and the truck says go

My 1500 doesn't delay at all. The problem is that the truck only has 30% of total power accelerating from a dead stop. Chrysler programs the power accleration that way on purpose. The Pedal Commander elimiates that by having 4 major modes. Eco, City, Sport, and Sport + modes. It also has 4 levels from 1 to 4 to chose from in each mode. The Sport + mode at level 4 is probably as close to 100% power from a dead stop. There is an installation video that makes it real clear how the Pedal Commander works that I'll post in a few minutes.

My 1500 with the 3:92 axle with the anti-spin option will break traction from a dead stop but you can definitely tell you are only at 30% toral power from a dead stop.

The Throttle Responder ITSELF is great in theory but short on actual results.
It's better to invest in a Tune which turns off (ifacci=0) THE TORQUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM all together.
AMHIK, BTDT.

The plan is to get a Diablo Tuner down the road.

Yep, the Pedal Commander doesn't make the truck any faster. But 60 foot time is a lot better with it....LOL.

I just can't believe all the stuff you can do to Metric Hemi's and new trucks. It is mind boggling!!!

This all started by adding a damn catch can!!!!

I've spent $4000 in add on's already and barely had the truck for a week. LOL!

The one safety item I thought was necessary is the 60" LED tailgate light bar. For some dang reason (in Maryland at least) the stop light footprint isn't enough to keep the loonies from coming close to smashing in to the back of my trucks. Seems the 60" LED tailgate light bar does a pretty good job keeping them off my tail.

I don't know why it isn't a factory standard or option!
