My 2018 RAM Longhorn

I'm hoping sooner than that up here in the rust belt, 10 years the door bottoms and the wheel lips on the bed sides will have holes. Price will be down to young mouth breather range. One of those rocket scientist will not make 6 months with a worn shock, high CG till he has it barrel rolled, or at least hits something to pop all the airbags. Then it's Copart heaven.
I'm excited, this should work out around my retirement age so I will have plenty of time to find and pluck one from the remains of someone's pride and joy. It warms my heart to be able to scrap the junky part and save the only good section.
Somebody mentioned that these new trucks are like the C bodies. Sell a lot of those Hellcat trucks and they will be just like the C bodies. But them cheap rip the heart out and demo the rest.

Now everybody is doing it. Gotta find something more unique than a Hellcat conversion.
BB's are gonna become like 2 bbl manifolds.
I'm thinking more like a Tacumsa swap into a mobility trike.

That's nice, but black engine compartment screams GM to me(yuck). The wheels are completely not right, the fenders are too thick and bulbous for wheels that big in diameter. I'm not against larger diameter wheels like 17" with the overall diameter the same as stock~ or there about, taking advantage of the lower profile tires. 19" and up just make it look clownish. If you stay out of the wheel well it looks like you lifted the car, if it is tucked up in the wheel well it looks like the car is broken or worn out suspension.
General Mayhem is more my style.

My Scat Pack has Hellcat wheels and tires 9.5 x 20 wheels with 275/40R20's without the wide body fender flares and it looks pretty good. It also has the 6 piston Brembo's and the 15.4" 2 piece rotors. Has the Hellcat rear axle too.

A lot of the Hellcat stuff on my Scat Pack....

Your right about the engine compartment color.

It should be body color.

Productive day!

I replaced the broken air dam. A lot of fasteners. Washed her up too. Looks brand new again. Only $125 for parts so it was a cheap fix!

New cars are good with 20/22" the body is designed to work with the wheels. Your car sits low and wheels are not tucked, all of which makes it look correct, and sinister in black I might add.

HowTF can people justify the nine grand diesel option and justify it because of the mpg??
Lunacy is going on with trucks and it's :realcrazy:

It's only 3000 more than the Hemi and when you add in the cost of 16 spark plugs every 40,000-60,000 mile it starts to look like a bargain.

I'm sure you already know this, but I will bring it up for the young ones. Owning a vehicle of any type is not cost effective. Be like me walk to work.:icon_fU:
