My 2018 RAM Longhorn

I asked what troubleshooting procedure was used to determine the wrong diagnosis. Well I just told them the part they just ordered works. They checked it again and guess what.....it works. So now they are telling me that they have to replace the whole steering column to fix the heated steering wheel. I just threw my hands up and said OK....just make sure you order ALL the FN parts that it can possibly be in this circuit. I'm tired of wasting my time here!!!!

My brother and cousin have 5 Benz's between them. The oldest one is 10 years old and newest one is less than 6 months. I know for a fact that they haven't done anything except oil changes and 2 of them had routine pad and rotor replacement and that has been it. Not a single problem out of any of them.

That's a new Bimmer every three years. You make too much money...
And don't excuse it as a company lease vehicle.

That steak makes it's OWN butter while it cooks. lol

Well the hard switch wasn't the problem with the heated steering wherl. Now they are telling me they have to order a steering wheel heater control module....whatever that is.

My limited electrical diagnosing skills from 40 years in the electrical field had suggested to me that it was not the hard switch, since the issue arose both with it and the touch screen. Has to be something further downsteam of the switches.

I was actually joking with them when I said order the entire steering column to make sure they get all the parts at one time to fix it and they said no ****, we are going to replace the entire steering column.
