Yep, I cant get the heated steering wheel to come with the hard button or U-Connect. Lol
Last week I was at the dealer for a loud blower motor on the Scat Pack. I'm surprised the blower motor didn't start on fire. Lol
Vain problems.....but that is what these vehicles have these days so they need to work right.
Use the warranty for as long as you have it. After the warranty expires is when you should be worrying about DIY repairs or if you can live without a feature. At one time, establishing a warranty history would be advisable, so that if a problem returned after the warranty expired, you'd have an argument for a "goodwill" repair. I don't know if any manufacturer works that hard on "goodwill" anymore.

The Service Writer is really trying to do the right thing every time I show up there. The Service Manager and the rest of the people at the dealer could care less. There are 3 other Dodge dealers within 20 miles of me. After the free oil changes I will be going to one of the other 3 dealers. I spend A LOT of money on parts......all the FN time too!!!!
I gave this dealer a scathing review on their "how did we do with the sale" survey when I bought the Scat Pack and they totally made it a hell with the sale and the pay off of my 300. I did not get a response back from Mopar or Dodge Cares department!

It's a connectivity problem. The seats will do the same thing when the ribbon wire element breaks.
For the wheel it is most likely in the steering column.

I'm going to take in to Cook Dodge in the morning. Might as well let the warranty come in to play.

Graham sent me a pinout of the seats and module and sure enough, infinite resistance on the element. Wife's Jeep not under warranty so I get to play upholstery guy and solder the ribbon back together. I have managed to avoid this by making sure garage is clear and as long as remote start is working when she leaves work.
I've been pretty lucky with the 3 recent vehicles. Really minor stuff. The radio problems really wasn't a Mopar issue. Mopar has a 3rd party that is totally responsible for design and warranty. The Mopar guys do a little troubleshooting and then the hard part is gathering the VIN and serial numbers and getting the right radio with the right software package. The Mopar tech spends about 15 minutes removing and installing the replacement radio. The rest of the issues that I had was just a defective part here and there. I'm confident that all the bugs and issues will be corrected before the warranty runs out on any of my vehicles.

Yah, yah, yah. I get that same bullshit in my home, too.
Even worse, my phone links my Ford Sync3 to my home Alexa with Android Auto.
Try and wrestle with that!!

Nice day to spend at the dealer. Tech's get in at 8 am. Service writer said the heated steering wheel problem has been a problem in this area with several vehicles already this fall and it really hasn't got real cold yet.

Well, the hard switch is defective. It will take 3-5 days for the switch to come in and they will call me back in.
