My 300 Hurst restoration begins

Looks great! I ordered the paint today! She should be ready to install the end of next week. Then on to rebuilding the front suspension on my sub frame and install my engine and transmission. This way we can slide it into place rather than try and install the engine after paint.

Putting the finishing touches on my rearend.

Looking good, I am curious to see the original markings put on too when you do. I got pics of mine but i haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
I’ll post pics of my markings. I’m curious if yours is legible for one portion where mine was not.

That's awfully nice. I just couldn't put all that into it then drive it
lol I enjoy trying to get her as close to a new car as I can. I can’t help myself as far as driving them. I just feel driving them when done is as important as building them right. To me it’s kind of sad seeing trailer queens. They were built to be used.

I can't wait to see this in Farmington, but I will.

I have been checking for my reference file and haven't been able to find it, I hope I haven't lost it as I had to do a backup onto a new laptop around Christmas. I did find this marking though. I will keep checking.

I'm not that big into numbers, but I got a little giddy when I saw stampings on the underside of the 500 while strapping it to the trailer!
