I found this on Craigslist in Albuquerque which is about 250ish miles from my house. Cost me a whopping $500 plus the $150 gas bill to go and get it plus the $50 car dolly rental. Its completely original with approx. 74000 miles. Besides the paint and vinyl top, its in excellent condition. Best $500 bucks i ever spent on a car.

Thanks. Been a lurker for a while but havent had a Cbody in a long time.

It had been sitting since 1992 uncovered. So theres a little fading of the carpet and top of the back seat and package tray. The dash has a few cracks in it. Think I might try dying the carpet on the floor and backs of the front seats to match the carpet on the lower door panels. I have about another hour or so of cleaning and vacuuming before im happy with the interior.l

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! I don't believe we even had the opportunity to pick that one apart on here. Nice score!

SCORE! Nicest 500 bucks I've seen in a long time. Any details on the car? Was it in someone's barn?
72' NY'r brougham....440 under that hood. How is it running? Plans? Please don't say 22s....lol

Welcome to the site, nice buy scrap on a car like that pays more than you have invested gas and all, hell even derby dummies are paying 1200 just to smash em, brain dead mouth breathers.

I had a 72 New Yorker Brougham, a blue 4 dr hardtop....... paid $400.00 for it, that was in 1984. Nice car, good luck with her

Did you have it before you had your license??
