My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

Thats a healthy list of work.... I guess i'll wash mine

Better get cracking. Yesterday, my off day, I washed a SH-3 Sea King before 11am, discussed the approach to repairing some bomb bay doors for an hour, ground off surface rust on a deck for 4 hours in the sun, got home and changed the oil in the wife's car, started the process of adjusting a set of valves and spent the evening looking for plans or pictures of bomb bay doors.

Maybe you'll get lucky and drive by a high school Freshmen cheerleaders fund raiser car wash...

Theres a pleasant thought
Yea, until you're completely surrounded by them like I am right now. We're in Orlando at a Disney resort for a cheerleading competition right now. Torturous.....

And the other fathers are looking at your daughter and thinking the same thing....

Replaced the turn signal switch yesterday and am happy to report that in so far as that switch is concerned, all the lights are working as they should. My buddy, the previous owner rebuilt one from his collection of non working units and did a excellent job. We also removed the column from the car and dismantled it to the point that we could flip the internals over 180 degrees so that the one crack in the wheel that used to be at 12 o'clock is now down at 6 o'clock. A small detail that made a big diff in the immediate appearance as you approach the car not to mention while behind the wheel. We also determined that between the 2 of us we don't have 1 working panel dimmer so I still have no dash lights. There's a guy on ebay that has a rebuild service for $75 so I'll give him a shot.

Met with the radio conversion guy today and gave him my spare readios and some money. Here's some pics of the T.S. switch job.

Thanks Bob, just talked to my engine guy too, he's about to start on my 915s. He's cleaned and magged them and gave them them the once over. They are bone stock untouched pieces that'll get the bigger valves and hardened seats, of course along with new springs and valve seals. I'll figure out what else I need when I tear it down.

Are the heads going to be on in time for Carlisle?
