Continued to chip away at the pre Carlisle list. Here's the damage from my tire detread in the fall, sucks but I should be able to straighten it out. The fender straightened easy and I got most of the kinks out of the inner and now just have to reform it to fit and make it look like nothing happened.
Still lucky the outer sheetmetal was mostly spared; had a similar situation and had to considerably straighten out the rocker panel, fender and the door even got scratched.
I was lucky a few months ago when I had a right rear tire come completely apart and off the wheel at 50 mph and didn't damage or hurt anything including the skirt.
Matt just reading through your thread and saw the broadcast sheet on page 4, post number 36 and even that's higher quality in imperials ... looks like it has been kept in a humidor!
As I've told you before love your car. Nice to see more of it.
Well I thought I was going to want to rebuild the front suspension completely but after beginning a thorough front to back inspection on the car it turns out that it really doesn't need it. Every zerk fitting still has a little protective plastic cover on it and there doesn't seem to be any slop in any of the joints. I think I'm just going to put shocks on it and go through the brakes as far as the front is concerned. The way it's going I'm going to have a lot more time for cosmetics then I thought before Carlisle.
