My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

Wow you guys, I'm overwhelmed and honored to be associated with you all. I didn't expect that but keep it up.

That's a very fair deal Bob .. It cost me little more to rescue my kitty 5 years ago IIR it was about $125 for the same deal. But if by reimbursable you mean they give you the $50 back if you get them spayed then that's a really great price. And it helps to save more animals. So good for you Bob. I wish I had gotten two kittens instead of one when we get her.

Matt, I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my German Short Hair about a month ago after 14 years, also to cancer. I still get teared up..Hunter was the only one who was waiting for me when I came home every night after work.

The shelter is being creative and figuring out ways to get animals out of the shelter. A senior couple (late 70's) was at the shelter at the same time I was there to adopt an older cat. They were offered the same deal (name your price day) and they rescued an 8 year old cat. They offered $5 and gave the cat a home. I was talking with them and they were telling me that they have rescued animals for years. Said they were limited to cats now because of their age. He had an oxygen tank with him and I could see that he wouldn't be able to walk a dog anymore. They were living on SS and still rescuing animals which I thought was a great thing to do.

This is a cat that we rescued, her name is Molly. It was weeks before she would allow us to pet her due to her past treatment, all she did was eat, crap and hide. The white cat is Mandy and I have had him for about 16 years, he tucks me in every night.

This page is in desperate need of an Imp progress report, I'll have one later.

My gf had a pretty good laugh out of the pic of your girl working in the engine bay. She instantly recognized the strong resemblence. Your dog will leave a trace in Germany as well, as her yearly donation will be in his memory.

And now back to topic.

I stopped by the Vet / Animal shelter on the way home and made a donation in Duesey's name also. There was a very cute very young little kitty there and they said it would go to her spaying. I'm now thinking about going back and getting here but my cat would be mad I'm sure :) ... but she was so cute !!

Just to drive Dave even more crazy, here are the 4 inmates that I work for around here:

Sam is 15 and the best cat ever:

Coco is a little gal who came from the shelter:

Fred wandered in the back door one day and decided to stay:

Rusty did the same:

Got a few things done yesterday but ended up playing catch up with things that went on the back burner over the last week. The shop is a very different place right now and its very difficult to concentrate. I've got a lot of work to do there both for clients and on the Imp so I'm going to have to find a way to power through it. I'm going to put a call into my engine builder, he offered to come over and work with me on it and that might be a good idea.
any ideas on how I could match the patina that's on the block? After engine goes back together I'll need to paint the heads at the very least and I'd like to be able to freshen up the rest of it as well but at the same time don't want it to look freshly rebuilt.
