My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

In spite of the leaky rear main I had a few minutes today and decided to show the Imp some love. I replaced the fuel sending unit and now have a working fuel gauge for the first time since I've owned it. I'm going to have the original rebuilt and keep it for when and if the new one fails. Replaced my yellowed and busted up windshield washer reservoir, the original pump still works fine so just replaced the res. I also decided to put the NOS cornering lens on it to replace the one that was hazed and riddled with hairline cracks. The new one was doing me no good in its box in my filing cabinet. Hopefully get after that seal next week.

Matt, your Imp is looking great!

I live those Imperial Eagle emblems on the lens! I may even get a pair for my Formal like Stan has on his NY'er.

Is the rear main still leaking?

thanks Bob! Rear main is still leaking. I refuse to pull the engine back out and will not fix it without a lift. I'm currently waiting for some lift time through 2 buddies, soon...

Best 100 bucks I have spent on the car, yet.
You can put a million dollars into mechanicals and nobody sees the blood, sweat, and tears.
Put a set of cyrystal clear lenses on and everybody finally notices your car.. Jeeezes

I'll have to wait for Marty to return from his cruise. Do you still have the PN handy?

Today's your lucky day. Receipt right on top...

P/N: 3780719.
Don't forget, one of those he has in stock is yellowed.

Yep, I remember......I'll have that conversation when I order them this fall.

Marty has updated his website.........pretty spiffy!

Didn't he have 8 when you bought your pair? He has 6 on hand so it looks like it may have went back in to his inventory.

When Marty has ONE left, that buyer should ask himself how much does he really need it.
It's a DD lens, not Show. If yours is broken and the car is a 20 footer, it's a perfectly acceptable lens.
Or spend a zillion dollars on the several NOS New Yorker lenses floating around.

I guess it'll have to do if you have one that is broken or missing.......or go with a pair of the NY'er lens. Who would know besides you, me and Matt?

Mine or Stan's? I'm confused, what thread is this?
