My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

They are seniors after all.
And I’m all for “Social Distancing” at all car shows in the future. 6’ min. between cars.

So catching up a bit on my daily driver here. Earlier this year I had @Devinism rebuild the headlight switch(he did the dimmer a few years back) and while I had the cluster bezel off I refinished the walnut on it although I still have to refinish the rest of the walnut in this car. As they say the cobblers shoes are never done...

At the time he strongly suggested I put a relay kit in for the headlights, well as it turns out it’s not a suggestion so much as it is mandatory. The original headlight switch worked even though I had to jiggle it to get the dash and taillights to come on, hence the rebuild. It’s internal circuit breaker only tripped when I used the brights so I didn’t use the brights, with the halogens up front the headlights are actually brighter then most anyway. The rebuilt switch I got back from Devin(I sent him a bunch at once) must have a more sensitive circuit breaker because it would trip Every time I turned the headlights on even after swapping them out for some NORS non halogens I have here. Since I do drive at night especially on Weekend road trips I finally went ahead and ordered the Relay kit From his buddy Rob Yule. I’m installing now, pics to follow.

That car pulled right up behind me on Auburn Rd. last week!

How much for the steering wheel ??:poke:

If you’re going to reach out to Rob Yule do it by email first please.
His relay kit/harness was very well made and I would highly recommend it. I’m already planning the relay kit for the taillights with him.:usflag:
I never thought about putting the taillights or brake lights on a relay, they don't have as much draw as the headlights so I never gave it a second thought.
