Old Man with a Hat
New project is a 69 Super Bee. Bodywork mostly done with a few spots to rework. Then all the prep and paint. Going to be the newer Mopar Octane red.
I agree Wyatt!Octane Red is a nice one. Looked at a Scat Widebody with peanut butter guts in that color.
Gloss primer...I'm not sure they made a bad color for 22 or 23.
I guess. Still out of all the colors probably the least appealing. It still looks good on those cars.
I wasn't much of a fan of the Granite Crystal at first. But it definitely grew on me.I'm not a fan of those grays but all the manufacturers offer them and you see a lot of them so I guess I'm in the minority.
Looking good . What's your favorite paint brand, and what body filler you are using specially in hot Arizona whether? Just asking..
Regards,
Mika
Good question Stan. Well compared to the low line paint systems the high quality ones do give you much better coverage and durability. Now in this case PPG versus Matrix I'm not sure PPG is giving anything for the higher price. I'm going by recommendations from others though since I haven't used the Matrix line before. When done I will let you know my experience with Matrix. What does 1600 paint give you that the others don't?
