As Mike66Chryslers and one of my buddies has told me..

"Enough gawking! Get to work!!" :)
Well I crossed out everything on this page...

Progress..Got the doors' weatherstripping and outside door handles installed. The cat-whiskers I ordered many years back fit beautifully----on the right side. The company shipped me two right sides. Bummer. I have to order another set and be out of pocket.Their 30 day policy ran out many moons ago.

I installed the quarter panel extensions and refurbished taillight assemblies (with NOS lenses) since they were lying around and did not want them to get damaged. I had to install the NOS trim bits since I have been visualizing how they look on the car since 2006..

Ditto rear side markers. Been in love with these since I was a kid looking at any 68 Mopar especially my Aunt's cool 68 Chrysler back in the day...

Leaburn, who are you using as a supplier of cat whiskers? Nice progress BTW.
Restoration Specialties no longer list the four door hardtop C body so I googled the part number since I still have the packaging and found Dante's still carry them in stock!

While i am waiting for my second set of window felts from Dante's,I cleaned and polished the window frame assembly that holds the weatherstrip against the hardtop side glass.

my goal is to have all the side glass and related items installed so I can fine tune the door gaps and ease of opening/closing the windows and doors.

I also cleaned and detailed the rear tail panel script.Basically polished the chrome and spray bombed them flat black.Once the paint started to set,I cleaned the face of the badges and buffed the chrome once again yet leaving the outer edges flat black. The "Custom" is NOS but needed detailing from years of shelf wear.

Tail panel is done. Funny thing is it took hours to prep and polish the trim and minutes to install. I still have to gap the trunklid..

The top cat whiskers came in and got installed. The side glass stainless and weatherstrip is also installed. Side glass is next on the list. I installed the NOS trunk lock cylinder replacing the screwdriver operated one.

As I posted in another thread,I put the wheels on
Boy,they sure do make the car. Just wait till all the trim is on..wow.

I put in a full day in the shop. You look at the car but does not show it.
I focused on the doors--lubing the latches, locks and hinges.
Now they open/close very nicely.
Got new latch screws, put in the front door locks.
Had to open up the lock holes from the huge build up of paint.

This reproduction hood to yoke seal is a nice piece.
However the clips that came with it are junk.
Over half of them broke.
Luckily,I searched and found decent clips to use.

Using whitewall cleaner,a fine wire brush and lot of water,I picked the best of two rear bumper fillers.
Once cleaned and installed,I robbed the left over clips and used them on the hood seal,LOL
