1970 Plymouth Sport Fury All Original

Does the roof in the top picture go back further on the rear deck?

I like both roof lines.

That's in pretty nice original condition. Seems kind of high at almost $17K, tho....

That more formal Roof style always reminds me of the Ford LTDs that came out first with that Kind of style. Never liked it that much on either of them, but that's a rather nice example Color and condition wise.

Should it have a dual snorkel air cleaner? I ask because my car has the 383 4 barrel engine with the wrong air cleaner and I have been looking for a dual snorkel. But this has a different style.

Of the two pictures above, which is the more formal roof style? To me the top one looks more formal, but the lower one is a sport fury and the initial post implies to me that the sport fury has the more formal roof style.

The top pic is formal roof. The bottom one is called the standard hard top (I think).

Thank you! Sorry for all the stupid questions, but I have to follow up. The bottom one is a standard hard top and the bottom one is also a Sport Fury, correct? Did all Sport Fury's have that style top?

You could get a Sport Fury with either roofline. You could get a GT with only the standard hard top. I believe the Fury I, II, III could be had with either.

So by that deduction, you can quickly determine that the GT in the top pic is a clone.

No Hardtops at all available in Fury I and II series, otherwise correct.

It is not quite all original, baby moons with chrome wheels and the wrong air cleaner. Still a nice ride if a bit overpriced.

The orange striped GT in the pic above has the wrong HT Roof to be an original.
