I've got an original 1970 440 TNT motor with the numbers '125' on the drivers side v/c meaning, I believe, 440 w/automatic but the passenger side has '118' on it. Does anyone know what that stands for? Thanks

Not sure, mine (69) had some scribble on it.

Oh. Those scribbles. Means nothing to me. Just assembly line scribbles.
Means nothing unless you are looking for all 100 points at concours judging.

Here is a picture of my v/c. I'm in the process of detailing my engine compartment on my '70 300 convert plus having the motor freshened. Not a big deal, but debating on putting these numbers back on the v/c after I find what they mean. Thanks.IMG_0267.jpg

Looks great under the hood, nice work!

Lurker sponging for info. Looks like he got what he needed...

Lol! I'm not saying being a lurker is a bad thing. I think participating at any level is ok and with an engine bay that looks like that, he should post more. He's moved from lurker status to tease and that's not good!

Sorry about not showing the car first. Really do not have any pictures of it other than from the day I brought it home. Originally out of Texas new, I bought it out of Wisconsin where its been since 1992. Pretty straight car, factory 'U' code car but the engine bay and wiring was a mess. Took over a year for the re-build of the motor and finding time to put it all back together. Put 30 miles on it last week before the cold weather set in and at that point I parked it for the winter.
