NYC

My niece's company was one of the first to move back into the new trade center. When i visit she's always pushing me to walk faster. Walk faster and quit stopping to look at the sites, "You look like a tourist" uncle Dan! Hon, ya mean the Old English D on my hat isn't their first clue? A week in that town and i'm ready for my suburban tract home.

When you hear the term "in a New York minute" it makes "seconds" look like a blur. I've been up here for 12 years and I'm still not used to how fast paced everything is..

Lived in the City for 10 years. Was cool, but I'm glad I'm back in the west. Never liked the weather there.

Why have we not met?:realcrazy:

Probably have Matt if you're part of the Ram's Horn Saturday Morning group.
I had my GTO in a few of the Rockin' Rods shows.
I'll have the Monaco at the Lions Club show at Rochester Municipal Park on the 20th.

I work 6 days a week but will occasionally do Pastieners on Woodward on my way in on Saturday mornings, never been to a Rockin' Rods show I don't think and the 20th is a Saturday...
I wasn't really even aware anybody gathered at the Rams Horn on Saturday morning, what time?

Restaraunt is open 24 hrs and they get there early Saturdays. I might roll by around 8:30 am and restaraunt will be packed. Nice weather will see parking lot full of old cars.

I grew up in Connecticut and because our capital city is just so damned FANTASTIC, I naturally spent most of my city time in NYC and to a lesser extent, Boston. Beyond that, I've lived in Seattle, Vancouver and Montreal.
I now live in the most "downtown" part of Stafford Springs, CONN and it's too damned much for me.
Awaiting my home on my land in the woods. I'll never go back to the city.
