Which one did you get? I like my iPad and don't use my desktop anywhere near as much as I used to.

I'm going to hold off on a tablet for now. I would only use it on the road and I would probably flat out lose it or leave it someplace.

I bought an obscure Chinese tablet you never heard of. Google: Freelander PD20 to see it. It has quite a TabGeek cult following.
After researching Tabs for about 6 months because I developed Tab envy from my wife's Kindle Fire, I found deficiencies in every major brand that made them deal killers IMO. Finally came across this Chinee cheapo at a Too-Good-To-Be-True price (get what you pay for, right?), rolled the dice with it and it had everything I wanted, most specifically GPS and with a dongle I have 3G. I love the unit. The jury is out on if I'M a Tab guy.
Personally I like it better than any other high buck Android Tab out there.
Interesting side note: I received the unit Jan. 21. On January 20, Google blocked this unit from accessing their Play Store (Legal piss match). That sucked. But I just D/L the apps to my phone and X-fer them to the Tab.

Bob: On the road? I got a windshield/dash mount for this thing also and it makes for a killer large 7" screen GPS that I can ACTUALLY SEE!!

I'll have to take a look. What's the ball park $$$ for the tab?

Well, I bought a ton of toys to upgrade it to the ultimate machine.
Tab: $120 w/1 Gb (Different sellers sell it with different included acc. - I found one seller who included in the price a dash/W.S. mount in the price).
8 Gb memory card: $43
32 Gb MicroSD memory card: $19
Extra A.C. charger: $18.00
Leather case woth built-in keyboard:$24

It also has Wi-Fi, dual cameras, HDMI output to stream movies to the TV and FM transmitter.
There is a tad more expensive model with built in 3G and Bluetooth.

I'll be darned, that is cheap! I'll be interested to see what kind of longevity you get out of it and if you have any issues. Keep us in the loop. Start a thread on it with a play by play of reviews of likes and dislikes.

Are you guys serious?????
Start a thread reviewing a Chinese cut rate Kindle clone, that has been denied access to Google services, assembled by child prison slave labor, using stolen U.S. technology. and has hidden spy detecting code buried in the operating system written by the North Korean military...
...on FCBO.....
Why do you think I switched to my phone to reply?????

I was mainly interested in seeing your frustration when you realized you got what you paid for...thought it'd be entertaining.

LOL! Well I guess it'll have to go back to the Lean Burn Technologies Test Center (North Korean Quonset Hut Location) for vacuum tube replacements.

Actually I love it!!! It blows away my wife's Kindle fire and my friend's Nexus 7.
It's just not a tablet for first time Androiders because without direct access to Google's Play Store, they wouldn't know WTF to do with it.

Can't beat the cost. We'll stay tuned for further developments.
