OK you truckers...

Here's a clip that should make the old timers remember some of their first rides.

They used to offer a couple of wild graphics right from the factory.

Me So driver how did you end up in the ditch on a great day like this?

Just the other day I had to tell my boss that I can no longer drive these POS day cab Volvo's, especially the 2014's. My giantness (;) ) and the ergonomics of the seats and lack of room in the cab is killing my knees, hips, lower back, neck and shoulders....I'm seriously in pain after just a day spent in the cab running around town. :(

Thankfully we have a 2013 Freight-liner day cab, with a DD15 and....my oh so favorite "Allison 6 speed". But at least it has more cab room, and the seat is decent enough that I can survive a day in the seat.

I have pointed out that for 9 years I was driving sleeper trucks for these guys with no issues, but within 2 years of switching to day cabs and I can barely make it through a day.

Alright rant off....:eusa_eh:

1/4 pounder is a company percentage driver that is making 25% of what the truck makes and pounds the hell out of the truck to go go go no matter what.

Funny. I had to do the same thing. After a week in my new Volvo day cab, I developed severe shoulder and back pain that even percs couldn’t help. I demanded my old International back and my Volvo went to a driver that after 3 days refused to drive it. It finally ended up with a driver who weighed 98 lbs soaking wet.

WhoTF at Volvo thought it was acceptable to have the shifter behind the right shoulder???
