OK you truckers...

Chris Kikelhan tells the story of how this 1984 Peterbilt 359 with 608 original miles was preserved by the original owner and second owner. It was on display at the 2015 Paul K. Young Truck Beauty Championship held at the Mid American Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

Seems a waste of a good truck to me, but I understand the father's desire to preserve what he could of his son's memory. The selfishness of suicide stories always kinda pisses me off... I've seen too many families hurt that way.

New owner is right, it would make a good museum piece.

Never understood wanting to base pay on C.P.M.. I have always made more running percentage, but then again I have not had a interest in running more than 10 hr. out most of the time 5 is max.
C.P.M. as a o/o is suicide. I can't believe they are still getting away with this scam.
I just did a extra(pops up every once in a while) load Friday. It was flat rated for $250 to go 23 gps miles I ran further because I did not want to go back through Washington PA and all the red lights. So factoring in the dispatch miles from my empty location to load and to unload I am at maybe 50. If they paid you the CPM on all that which I'm not sure they do it would pay like $60 at 1.20/mile. On percentage my cut is 196.25, now which is better?

C.P.M? Please explain for us unedumacated.

Edit. Cents Per Mile?

Coffee wasn't working yet!

Oh, so you want to be the guy that does the first and last few miles when the autonomous trucks take over.
I'm great at backing in. The driving part is what killed me.

Always loved the satisfaction of nailing it perfectly on the first shot.
