Part throttle kick-down

Why do you say that? Is Patty looking to close up for good?
His business card says "I'm retiring one of these days" or something like that.

He's close to hanging it up, he said that to me in an email. He's getting rid of inventory and making a little side money now, but it's not going to last forever.

Yea in post #1 the label say 52 years & 50 years, unless he was wrenching on Mopars when he was 5, he's right up there in age (can ya blame him).

I am terribly sorry but I fear I will disappoint everyone. I hit the freeway home with the car so I could take to trans shop this morning, and she began running rough, and sending all her coolant out the exhaust. Had to flat bed it back to her garage. Today, I checked the oil, and it's over full and there's some foam in the breather cap. Either blew a head gasket, cracked a head, or broke a block. I'll know more Monday, and this may lead to disposal of the car.

I swapped to a '71 valve body on my '66 to get part throttle kick down, it bolts right in.
I have just added the part throttle kick down valve on other 727s in the past too.
I also swapped the stator support in the front pump to the newer type so I was able to use any newer ('67 and up) torque converter

Blown head gasket, be running in a couple weeks then we'll pick this back up. Meanwhile, I await the arrival of the refurbished heater box I had rebuilt.
