Yeah. Those guys look like they are dressed up like brakemen, and the coal bucket is probably for the coal stove in the caboose. Parkersburg is B&O country, BTW.

i want it, but its in the snowbelt. not my retirement geography.
also was a gas station ... could require crap-ton of environmental remediation of "Brink's Truck" proportion that would stop me in my tracks .

I've probably mentioned before that the Tucker car engines were made here in Syracuse (actually in the suburb, Liverpool). This is the first I've found a picture.

Air Cooled Motors, where the motors were built, on Old Liverpool Rd, Liverpool, NY
Recent picture, although the front has been repaired since it was taken.
These are towers behind the plant, I've read that these were where they tested engines.

Truckload of 1936 Fords being delivered to Holzbaugh Ford, W. Grand Blvd at Fort Street, Detroit.

red circle is Fort Street @ W. Grand Blvd. The one bldg. left there is a flop house (Crest Motel).
through that structure behind (left side of outdoor pic, looking southerly toward Canada) the dealer building, look close you can see one of the Ambassador Bridge (over Detroit River to Canada) towers. To get the angle right, I suspect dealer was on Fort street.
top of pic outside circle is I-75 (Fisher Freeway, six lanes plus two service drives). Tore through there in the 1950's.
Dealer may not have lasted through the "urban renewal" that went with that construction. Its heartbreaking the fine architectural gems that were lost when these concrete ribbons decimated some urban areas.
roughly same view in 1957, just before the freeway, and there are TWO, round scaffold looking structures (red arrows) that didnt survive the 1960's. I cannot finda single reference as to what they were.
The were on West Jefferson at 24th. Maybe some one from that part of town knows what they were.

Allen County Sweeper Co. is in Fort Wayne, IN. Here’s the building back in 2008:
From a 2014 story: “the space that formerly housed Allen County Sweeper, a vacuum sales and service company, has been cleaned up and will very shortly be open for business as the new home of TekVenture, a creative spot for those who have a “need to make things.” (…) The family of the vacuum shop’s late owner, Dale Skaggs, came to TekVenture and suggested they lease the building at 1800 Broadway. One catch, though: the building, built in 1943 as an auto shop, was crammed with decades’ worth of material – not just vacuums and their assorted parts, but also motors, toasters, microwaves from the 1980s, plates and dishware, even baby buggies. And tools. Tools of every shape, size and purpose. TekVenture held several “garage” sales to clear out much of the odds and ends, and volunteers have been cleaning.(…)
The goal of TekVenture is to inspire people to come in and craft their ideas, using actual machines such as 3-D printers and welding equipment. By having a space for people to come and create, TekVenture hopes to increase the ability of the region to develop new technologies.(…) “The various rooms in the building will be dedicated to different technologies, he said. Makers can come in and use tools and equipment to craft their concepts into realities.”
TekVenture has since moved elsewhere. Here are views of the building in 2019 and 2023. @amazinblue82

The circular structure is a Gasometer-a natural gas storage tank that rises and falls with the amount of gas in it.
dont follow chief ... its "transparent". like a lattice structure?
