Can't leave out our Canadian brothers & sisters.
Former British American Oil Co. gas station, built 1949, Highway 3A at Duck Creek Rd, Wynndel, British Columbia, Canada (14 miles from BC/Idaho border, 300 miles SW of Calgary AB, 600 miles east of Vancouver BC).
British American bought by Gulf Oil in 1969. Template architecture, streamline moderne, stucco over brick it seems, was used across Canada by BA.
Looks to have been abandoned for a long time. Still there as of 2019. Still vacant then too, dunno a few yeard later. Good size/features for a "hobby" garage, looks to be kinda off the beaten path though.
source (by someone with a passion for the old BA stations' architecture): Architectural clones: British American service stations
1948
1952
2010
in 2019 per google, Nice scenery up there..
A twist on the streamline moderne template with a cedar log facade. circa: 1960 in Yahk, British Columbia. Its gone now
Restored version in Newtonville, Ontario
After the Gulf takeover, circa 1970's, Nelson, British Columbia
