Quick starter relay question

Will the starter relay die completely when it is bad, or will it work intermittently?
1970 New Yorker.

Normally they fail without warning. However, I had one had some trouble giving up then working again but failed for good shortly thereafter. My advice, replace it now. They are cheap.

It did it on a 68 Valiant. Sometimes would,sometimes not. Replaced and no more problem.

On my 66, it would start sometimes, and not other times. Replacing it with new solved the problem.
