One of the things that I think will end badly for us as a country. Taking a risk in play as a kid teaches kids to manage risk. Take the risk out of play with all the "safe" play ground stuff and where are kids going to learn about risk? I broke my arm twice as a kid but I learned not to do the same stupid thing twice.

Good to know as a changing place for my caped friend. Things have gotten quite hard for him nowadays...
When I was in high school (late 90's), they had rotary pay phones on campus. The rumor was that the administration didn't want anyone to be able to call a beeper. Weird, right?
