Resurrection of my 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

So, after removing the old undercoat, more pinholes appeared in the floor. I took a page out of Wollfen's book and cut out the bad and replaced with decent metal from the '73. This will be the only section of flooring I'll need to replace.

Ooo, look at all the pretty lights!

Finally, after 7 years it looks like the majority of the work will be topside next year. I'm satisfied that the undercarriage is clean and the basic structure is solid. Onward to the electrical!

Nice clean work, James. I can't wait to see the black car receiving the same treatment...You know, the car that you no longer call a "parts car"

Thanks Oliver. "Frank", the black parts car, will get some attention in the spring next year, but the vert project has to be completed by 2020. My son is getting married and they want to use it as a wedding car.

Glad to see you are getting there. I am sure you can't wait to be cruising, which is the whole point of us doing up these cars, right?

Absolutely, I can’t help but feel bad for all of those poor rotisserie restored trailer queens that will never get gravel between their treads.

One more parting shot. Finally stored in the garage for the winter. My wife had the suggestion for the extra workbench in rear seat area so I can get some work done on the dash over the winter.
