Rim size selection

I'd stick with 14s or 15s. If your roads are like ours you won't be sorry.
While my d.d. Charger with 20"s jumps all over the road , the Monaco with 14"s and a lot of sidewall just floats over everything.

I ran slots for 12 years. These were Shelby Cal 500s, 15x7. Yes, Ford wheels, but I had no problems, regardless of the horror stories about running Ford wheels on Mopar hubs.

I should add a caveat to my previous post - I was going to also mention that I originally really wanted to go with 16s over the 15s but the difference in price from the more standard 15 to the less so 16 was really significant. So I went with the 15s. Anyway, wanted to mention that, for what it's worth.

Here's what you should do, put whatever size wheel you think looks good and don't worry about what other people have to say.

Me personally, I'd start at 17x8 in front and 18x8 to x9's in the back. It opens you up to a lot more tires to choose from.

In the end do what makes you happy. Don't listen to the old codgers around here.

Absolutely!!

I completely agree with you Monaco , in the end it will be my decision and I will be happy with it . Really liked seeing the pics of other members cars .thanks everyone

Everyone should go by his/her taste, but I think that 15`` are the best.

I'm a huge fan of anybody that goes with the big wheels and small profile tires on these cars.
Go for it.
I agree. The cars are so big, the bigger wheels accent the car. I'm not opposed to stock wheels either. Its your choice and no one should say any trash about it!

my 67 300 required a rear end charge to get the 15x8.5 vintage americans from 1965ish with a nice size tire

on it . do to a 1 1/4 pos offset . and that 245/60-15 fits with no issues , 225/70-15 up front could go bigger . but i've never needed any more tire on the nose of these c bodies , even at 145 mph in a freeway curve .

@300rag , you can order what already produced in the 60's . these are not tto's . they are a restored different rim from the new gen of old looking rims . just not my style . i do have a pair of 5'' fronts in tto's . but i would rather have the vintage rims .
