First off Goldman , that is a gorgeous ride . Congrats on that buy ! I am not really a fan of big rims , but thought that big rims looked better on big cars . Those are a very nice rim . But I totally agree with what your thinking , and what have other members have said , they just don’t flow with the style and lines of your car , it’s like a really naturally pretty girl with a load of make up on . They are beautiful and shiny , but yet seem out of place . I myself have decided on 15 in rims for my car . Probably a cragar classic chrome or the keystone classic . It seems I have now answered my very first post . As another member said , choose the rims you like and that is all that matters . It’s your car to enjoy , please update when you chose your new rims , with pics

I went with 235/55/17s with a 7" width on my Sport Fury and they fit with no issues what so ever. I could have gone several inches wider with no problem, but my car is all original with the stock 383 4bbl so I don't need anything aggressive. I do agree with the earlier comments about ride quality suffering if you go too large and I do not recommend anything over 17" if you want to maintain a comfortable ride. You can still find a wide selection or reasonably priced rubber in 16" and 17" but it is getting harder to find 15" and that means higher prices for limited choices. Just my opinion, but I went with American Racing 501s to mimic my original Magnum 500s and I am very happy with them. They are very affordable, too, at just $180 each delivered from Summit Racing.

I like the wheels, what brand of tire? Did you get the package from summit where they mount/balance and ship? I'm on the fence with my
wheels. The fact that they are new and paid for does influence my thinking.

Those wheels look great and if they are already paid for that is a huge plus. I did not get the package because I wanted the Comp 2 T/A radials and they were only in stock on the east coast and the wheels were in Reno. I live in CA so rather than wait until the tires were available I got the tires from back east and the wheels from Reno. When everything arrived (shipping was free for everything) I took them to a local tire shop and they mounted and balanced all 4 plus pulled the old tires off my original Magnum 500s for $98. I thought that was a very fair price. I actually then ordered a 5th wheel and tire in the same size to serve as my spare because the prices were so reasonable and the shipping was again, free.

keystone classic look great and right on any old car in my taste buy they have tripled in price over the years. i'm just not a fan of the way the lugs are installed with the offset washers so the can fit any lug pattern but makes them fit any car.plus you can get them with almost any backspacing needed. here's a pic of them on my old challenger that i sold yrs. ago.kick my but every morn. i get up for selling it .pic. is of my fury now

I put new rims/tires on my NewYorker today. These are the 501 17x7 with BFGoodrich P22560R17. I'll lower the front-end a tad after new lower control arm bushings
