I totally expect to get **** for it but I don't care. Rolling 22s on my 68 Newport. Ride sucks. But I love the look regardless of the haters.

Riddlers, 18x8 front and 20x10 rear. Ride isn’t too bad. Gets a lot of looks.I am trying to chose new rims and tires for my 65 New Yorker 2 dr . I think big rims look good on big cars , but when I set an old school 15 in rim and tire on the back I think looks great . Anyone go with a 20 in rim on there c body ? How is the ride affected ? What size tire you use ? Offset ? I put a friends 20 on the front and took a pic , everyone that looks says they like the 20 on the front . Hoping to get other opinions or would like to see pictures of your car with rims .

The wheels look great! 10 inch width would be too wide for my '68 NY because of the inserts. What was your offset and backspacing on the 18x8 wheels you used on the front of your car, please?
I think those look great John. Looks like they tuck behind the inserts without a problem. What backspacing and offset did you use? I'm thinking 17 inch wheels for my '68 NY hardtop. Can't decide on style yet, but it's hard to go wrong with a nice set of five spokes like yours.Have 18" torque-thrust on my 66 New Yorker. 275/45zr18 in back and 255/45zr18 in front. I think they look awesome, my neighbor thinks they're a major appearance upgrade.

Thanks. Based on reading a lot of other posts, I think the right way to go (for me, anyway) might be a 17x7 with 4.5 inches of backspacing and 0 offset. So, when I see someone with a nice set like yours that looks like it fits well, I always ask. Thanks again.Jim, I’ll have to check. There is some rubbing but only when pulling across a deep driveway entrance.
'68 300.What yr and model is that!!
How bad is the ride? Does it keep you from driving a long distance? Would your body be comfortable driving 500 miles?I totally expect to get **** for it but I don't care. Rolling 22s on my 68 Newport. Ride sucks. But I love the look regardless of the haters.

Will look good with the skirts installed and cleaned up.these were 15x8's with 275/60-15 . but the skirts needed to be modified the latching hit the tire .

I agree, I wish they made them with dedicated bolt pattern.keystone classic look great and right on any old car in my taste buy they have tripled in price over the years. i'm just not a fan of the way the lugs are installed with the offset washers so the can fit any lug pattern but makes them fit any car.plus you can get them with almost any backspacing needed. here's a pic of them on my old challenger that i sold yrs. ago.kick my but every morn. i get up for selling it .pic. is of my fury now

the white wall really sets the wheels off. Looks greatThat is my car, good picture to compare VN501 American Racing 15x7 in the front (225/75-15) and (old) 15x8 Magnum 500 in the back (255/60-15). They will be replaced with 15x8 (235/70-15) 20mm White wall as well. Coming soon.
