Success!!!
I just got the broken bolt out and I only welded the nut on when it showed signs of movement with the Vice Grips!
I credit patience more than anything but honorable mention goes to mapp gas, PB Blaster, bees wax, acetone atf, and tapping with a hammer while heat applied. The threads are still in great shape and I can finish putting it back together now. Here's the aftermath.

Oh yes, I should also credit Pandora jammin' on the Government Mule channel.

Matt...make sure you put some anti-seize on those new bolts.

That's awesome! I have a 94 LHS that is now my daily driver and I plan on doing the intake, injector seals, and a full tune on it. I'm really liking the car to be honest. It replaced my Neon when I really needed it to. I dragged it out of the woods but it's rust free, nice inside, and only has high miles.

Check the dealer service network to see if factory recall work was ever done on it. If not they will still honor the recall. It won't include the lower intake gasket but let them handle it if the recall was not addressed on your car. I'm guessing with high miles though, the work was done.
