Sell or Restore 1960 New Yorker 4DR Sedan?

The bottom line left to right is the build date, tough to see in the pic but will be month and day, then the code for the dealer it was delivered to, then the body, 833=new yorker 4dr. then the trim code, (interior), and paint code, (tough to make out also but looks like a 2 tone.

Any standard equipmet on the car is not indicated on the tag. Your car is not a heavily optioned car, shows 4 options. Would have to know more about how the car is equipped to figure out what the numbers refer to. Looks like one or two basic packages. (radio, heater, wipers, etc). What power equipment does your car have...? (windows, seat, remote mirror, door locks etc).

Hi Will, I found a printout of this website in my brother's things when I was going through them (http://tpocr.com/chrybp.html). Funny, he printed this the day after he bought the car. He must have been a good sleuth because I never came across that site after a few months of searches. Anyway, I thought I'd post it here since you're trying to piece together bits of information about these fender tag codes. I already posted a pic of the tag, and as you mentioned, the car has 4 options. One of them is cruise control (Auto-Pilot). That is probably under the O or the V. Based on someone's input from forwardlook.net (http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=21516), it looks like the N delineates heater/defroster/AC and the T delineates a radio (or type of radio) option. Hope that helps.
