So what do you guys think of this one? I might have twins soon!

Well guys tomorrow afternoon I will be getting on a plane and flying out to pick the car up. Already have insurance and the cash in my pocket. Then the 700 mile "test" drive home. Really pumped about it. Any of you guys live between Nashville and Dallas? You know just incase a I need a fellow C body brothers help along the way!

Hey! Way-ta-go on your acquisition of this car. And yer driving it home too! Stick to the back roads, if you can. You'll enjoy the trip and the adventure a lot more. Please take a few pictures along the way to document the odyssey, and of course, post them here.

Wish I was in your flight path, but Maryland is a long way outa yer way.

Yeah originally a buddy from work was going to drive me out there and follow me back but the best laid plans sometimes suck! LOL. I will be getting a couple of pics along the way. Most of my drive will be at night but i will be getting some pics at different places as I move along. The wife is really looking forward to me getting home with it. She can't wait to take a ride in it as well. I'll have more up monday after I get back. For some reason I can't seem to post any pics from my phone.

can't seem to post any pics from my phone.

Your phone is likely taking pictures in HD or large file format which are too big to post. You may have to save them to a file sharing service or do as i do forward them to your email and select a smaller file size when promoted. Open email and save pics to your file on your phone. Others here can better explain the online method. I need a 10 year old to administer it for me lol

I live in Dallas/Irving and would be more than happy to help if you need me, but I assume you would be pretty close to home by then.

Cool man. Yeah I am in Grand Prarie but you never know when doing trips like this with a car you have never seen in person. The guy I am buying it from is a stand up guy so far. He has even made sure I have a good spare and even bought some basic tools for the just incase I have to do something on the way. You aren't by chance going to the Cowtown club meet at Speedtek are you?

I may. It all depends on if I can convince my parents to let me go.

Trip went pretty good for a 700 mile trip. Had a small issue with the charging system which ended up just being a ground on the regulator. Fixed that and all was good. About 30 miles from the house the speedometer decided it wanted to unengineer it's self and quit working but I have another cluster so not that big of a deal. Apparently someone has put a different gear in it because at 85 on the speedo it is only doing about 78 or 79 but she just hummmed along. Did the math and she was getting about 14.5-15 mpg for the whole trip so all in all a great deal. Left my cord to transfer pics from my phone to the computer but will bring it in tomorrow and get some pics posted up. And as is the case most times the pics don't do the car justice. It is much nicer than I thought it was going to be.

Here are a couple from picking it up and some of the drive. I will get some better pics of it this week before I start to make some changes and get the AC in the car. Then I will get some updated pics of it after it is all done.

Thanks guys. I am super stoked about it. It's honestly the nicest car I've owned to date. The wife loves it and is nervous any time I take it somewhere. LOL. I plan on getting some carpet for it and cleaning up the interior in the near future after I get some of the mechanical and ac stuff done. Going to keep all the original stuff to put it back to stock if I ever want to in the future. I'm just going to get it to where it is a great driver.

Sharp car, the white walls have to go though
You know the funny thing about that is everyone has made comments about that. My wife loves them and I don't care for them. And that is how it is with each person I have talked to. It is straight down the middle on like v. dislike.
