Some bathroom reading material

It seems Chrysler went from manufacturing cars like the 69/70/71 300s, 70/71 Sport Furys, the early 70's Dodge Monaco/Polara cars, the fuselage Imps, to the above... almost overnight. What happened? The Fed's.

The R-bodies are arguably the least loved RWD Mopars. You mark my words, they're going to go through the roof soon. Just remember you heard it here first. In fact, rumor has it Joey already has the FRBO.com domain registered.

Not the way that was written. I lived it, was a part of it, saw it happen.......I need more than that.

Why would they " go through the roof" and what do you consider "going through the roof"?

I always preferred the styling of the R-bodies to their GM counterparts, although I do think the Pontiac was the nicest looking of the GM full-size cars of that era. My high school principal bought an '80 New Yorker and I remember it being a fully loaded, really plush, luxurious car. I actually got to ride in it once. He just happened to come along one evening when some friends and myself were broken down on the highway and gave us a ride to town. I always thought too that Chrysler should have continued the R-bodies and J-bodies for a few more years.

From a 1500 dollar car now to a 3k car within 3 years. That's doubling your money. I can't see any A/B & E bodies doing that any more.

Stripper R-bodies made for some nice cop cars. I'd love to make a sleeper out of a base 1980 360 Gran Fury.

I dont see that being any big announcement. I am surprised and have been for a few years they havent been valued more. You think NOW is the time....huh.
A, B & E bodies have already maxed out. Not much flipper money to be made there.

I enjoy reading Mopar history and American history in general.

Even you know that it is never the rigjt time to sell a precious metal. Its never going to be cheaper.

I am not a reader but that bored the hell out of me

Everyone is different. Boring to most... interesting to me. I have been interested in several area's of American history. The Civil War and Lincoln's assassination, WWII, Mopar history, Milwaukee historical architecture, etc. I'm all over the place in historical interests. Still to this day I learn new things about the subject matter that interesting to me. I live 5 minutes away from John Wilkes Booth's boyhood home.
