That is a very Kool wagon and it appears to be a hardtop.

All Chrysler wagonz manufactured between 1960 and 1964 were hard topz az well az Dodge 440 and 880 wagonz. Jury iz still out on the Plymouths of the same yearz and who ever findz a '60 or '61 DeSoto hard top Long Roof call me 'cuz you win the cookie, Jer

I say it's a hardtop.
No sedan wagons (??) in 62-64

Man, the potential of that car is crazy insane!

I love it.....would not even bother to put that silly 440 in it, the 361/3 would do just fine. gotta be a real rare bird with the 3 spd

Another day living in the wrong country.

not really........IMO he is high on the price anyway for a car in that cond

i'll take it for 1/2 his price! at least these are helping the wagons too get a bit of love they haven't been getting til now.

I'm a cheap bastard but I have to disagree on this one. Find me another stick shift 62 wagon not worse than that one . Just one. I'll even give you a couple of years.
I'll be here waiting......

I agree with Stan on this one, find a comparison to base a value on...

I think the price is in line.

Got a A833 and a 440 engine with a B-Body rear. You could sell those for a grand easily, if not more. That would bring the price down.

The 62 New Yorker wagons are one of my all time favorite mopar wagons...so I love this one too...even if it's lacking a bit of trim. But I have to agree with the others...the price seems fair to me. If it's truely in as nice a shape as he claims, then to find another big block, manual shifted 62 chrysler wagon would be tuff to do.

Would not a 361/3 spd manual be a factory 3 on the tree, not a 3 on the floor?

I think the car is priced fairly concidering the extra parts included. It may be possible to negeotate a better deal if the trans and axle are not included... (I wouldn't change a thing, except the wheels). Or, as someone mentioned..... sell the parts and recoup some money.

I have seen several examples of these early 60's C bodys with 3sp manual and factory floor shifts but can't recall seeing a "three on the tree" example.
I referenced a 62 parts manual and it has no parts listing for manual column shift parts on any C bodys...... But shows the entire floor shifter as the same for Plymouth, Dodge & Chrysler C's
Likely this carried over to at least the 64 models.

I have heard that there were no "3 on the tree's" with the "Astrodome" style dash due to the logistics of making it work.
